The Roundabout

Terms of use

Terms & Conditions

The Roundabout™ is a satire. Everything below is written in the register it mocks, which is itself the disclaimer.

1. What this is

The Roundabout™ is a humour website that generates fictional business aphorisms by combining words at random. Nothing it produces is advice, insight, strategy, or a substitute for thinking. Any resemblance to something said in your last meeting is the entire joke.

2. What you may do

Read it, laugh, copy a line, paste it into a deck, and enjoy watching whether anyone notices. You may share generated proverbs freely. You may not sell them back to us as consulting.

3. Reliance

Do not make decisions based on output from this site. If you build a quarterly strategy on a sentence a random generator produced, the generator was not the problem, and these Terms cheerfully decline responsibility for the roadmap that follows.

4. Warranties

The Roundabout™ is provided “as is,” which here means “as a joke.” We make no warranty that any proverb is meaningful, and a strong implied warranty that it is not. Synergies are non-refundable. Alignment is not guaranteed and would be suspicious if it were.

5. Trademarks

“The Roundabout™” wears its ™ as a costume. It is a bit, not a filing. The trademark symbols scattered through the generated text are decoration and confer no rights, obligations, or gravitas whatsoever.

6. Changes

We may revise these Terms at any time, socialise the change in a forum you were not invited to, and mark the whole thing green regardless. Continued use constitutes continued use.

These Terms are governed by common sense and a sense of humour. If either is unavailable in your jurisdiction, please close the tab.
